IPOH: Perak MCA is challenging a DAP lawmaker to lodge a report with the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over allegations that it has misused a RM150mil allocation to build a private hospital in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in Kampar.
said Keranji assemblyman Chong Zhemin alleged that MCA had ‘hijacked’ the allocation, which was originally meant to construct a government hospital in Kampar.“This is a serious allegation. If he has proof, then we invite Chong to lodge the reports and let the police and MACC carry out their investigations.
Low said he would be lodging his own report on the allegations at the Ipoh Police Station on Wednesday and subsequently with the MACC on Friday .
