“Berlegar video yang menunjukkan momen-momen berlaku nahas tersebut, jangan disebarkan dan mari kita memberi rasa hormat kepada ahli keluarga, waris mangsa dan jangan kita sebarkan...untuk rakan media juga saya minta tidak menggunakan klip atau footage itu. Beliau berkata demikian selepas menghadiri Program Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit@Bernama: Pembacaan Melestarikan Perpaduan yang diadakan dengan kerjasama Kedutaan Sweden di Malaysia sempena Hari Buku dan Hari Hak Cipta Sedunia yang disambut setiap 23 April.
