A man in Puchong recently beat a female security guard and threatened to kill her after the woman rejected his love.
The CCTV footage showing the man getting physical with the woman outside the guardhouse is currently circulating on social media. In the video, the man can be seen arguing with the woman before attempting to hurt her with a pocketknife. The victim, fortunately, managed to avoid the blade.The man was there to express his love for the woman but was rejected as she was still in the process of getting a divorce.
Fearing for her life, the 32-year-old woman then lodged a police report the next day around 1:30 PM.Serdang District Chief Police, ACP A. A. Anbalagan, said the suspect returned to the guardhouse around 3:30 AM after the first argument to confront the victim. This time, the suspect punched the woman in her head and tried to strangle her, but her colleague managed to stop him. The suspect then threatened to kill the victim before leaving the scene.
In a statement, Anbalagan said PDRM is now on the hunt for the suspect. The matter is being investigated under Sections 324 and 506 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 6 of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Dangerous Weapons Act 1958 for the offenses of causing injury with a weapon, criminal intimidation, and carrying a dangerous weapon in a public place.
