SANDAKAN: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) says it is not behind the criticism against DAP candidate Vivian Wong for helping to clean up a Muslim cemetery during her by-election campaign.
PBS deputy president Datuk Dr Yee Mo Chai dismissed accusations by DAP that PBS was politicising the matter.
On Sunday, a picture of Wong cleaning up the Muslim cemetery at Kampung Sim Sim drew flak on social media, with some calling it a political gimmick, alleging that it was not genuine. “I don’t like doing personal attacks. Honestly, I wish Wong all the best,” said Tsen, a former two-term Batu Sapi MP.
