Police have apprehended in Pavia, Iloilo a pastor wanted for alleged acts of lasciviousness on children in Manapla, Negros Occidental. ManilaBulletin
The Police Regional Office -6 did not identify the 32-year-old suspect ranked as the most wanted person in Western Visayas.
The suspect was arrested in an intelligence-driven operation led by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group -Iloilo with the Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Intelligence Unit, the Pavia Municipal Police Station, and the Manapla Police Station. His warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Dyna Chiongson of the Regional Trial Court -Branch 40 in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Police Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco, PRO-6 director, lauded the operatives for this new and significant accomplishment which resulted in the arrest of the region’s top most wanted person. “This is a testament that we are serious and committed enough to giving justice to the victims,” added Francisco.
