The Pasig City local government will be providing free circumcision services to male youth aged 10 to 16 years-old in the city from July 25 to Aug. 24.

The service that will be conducted this week from Tuesday, July 25 to Friday, July 28 will cater to residents of Barangays Pineda, Dela Paz, Ugong, and Buting.For residents of Pineda, the program will be held at the Pineda Elementary School on July 25; and for residents of Dela Paz, it will be conducted at the Dela Paz High School on July 26.

On July 27, the program will be done at the Ugong Elementary School for Ugong residents. On July 28, Buting residents must proceed to Buting High School. The scheduled circumcision activities on July 24 for Barangays Oranbo, San Antonio, and Kapitolyo were postponed due to the suspension of classes due to Typhoon Egay and the transportation strike.Those who want to avail of the service are asked to sign up at their barangay health centers in order to secure one of the 150 slots available per schedule.Applicants will be given their respective schedules and designated venues after registering.

The children who will be circumcised must be accompanied by an adult guardian or parent on the day of their scheduled session. The Public Information Office will be posting the schedules for the service on a weekly basis until Aug. 24 on their social media pages.
