Labor’s parliamentary committee members scored an “own goal” by trying to deny former prime minister Tony Abbott from voicing his opinion on the Voice to Parliament.
Despite backtracking on the decision and allowing Mr Abbott to front the committee, Ms Credlin said the incident highlights the government’s “almost
indecent rush” to get the change done.“It’s about making sure that no important decision on anything can be made without significant Aboriginal input.”
