New South Wales chief health officer Kerry Chant is urging parents to vaccinate their children against the flu these school holidays amid a concerning rise in hospital admissions.

People aged 65 and over, pregnant women, Aboriginal people, and those suffering with serious health conditions, including diabetes and immune disorders, are also eligible.
