Parañaque City 1st District Representative Edwin Olivarez distributed hospitalization assistance to 11 city residents who are in dire need of help to pay their hospital bills.
Olivarez said the 11city residents that were given medical and financial assistance are currently confined in four hospitals. He said four residents are confined at the Philippine General Hospital, two at the Philippine Heart Center, four at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute, and one at the Ospital ng Parañaque I.
The congressman said the guarantee letters being given to residents is part of the program of the Department of Health’s Medical Assistance for Indigent Patients . Olivarez said his congressional office on the second floor of Parañaque City Hall is accommodating city residents who need of medical and financial assistance.
