Pahang trader loses RM100,000 to mask scam

AN online trader lost RM108,300 when she was tricked into making a bulk purchase of non-existent protective masks. Pahang Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof said the 34-year-old victim said she made an order on April 3 on WhatsApp for 2,700 boxes of face masks from a woman in Penang.
