The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has announced five new proceedings for the upcoming Parliament session, focusing on key areas such as Kuala Lumpur land development, public airport management, and Khazanah Nasional's investments. The PAC will review the management of Kuala Lumpur land under the Federal Territories Department, Lands and Mines Department, and Kuala Lumpur City Hall. Additionally, they will examine the proposed leasing of electric multiple unit trains and the management of public airports under the Finance Ministry, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), Khazanah Nasional, and Employees Provident Fund. The PAC also plans to investigate Khazanah Nasional's domestic investments and the rising cost of health insurance premiums and private hospital charges.

MELAKA: The Public Accounts Committee has scheduled five new proceedings in conjunction with the upcoming Parliament session, according to Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.

“Additionally, we will review the proposed leasing of electric multiple unit trains under the Transport Ministry, Railway Assets Corporation and Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad. Mas Ermieyati, who is also Bersatu Srikandi chief, said this after launching the Melaka Bersatu Srikandi Service Centre in Taman Tambak Harmoni here on Friday, Bernama reported.

She added that PAC would look into the rising cost of health insurance premiums, private hospital charges and their impact on public healthcare under the Finance Ministry, Health Ministry and Bank Negara.
