A man yielded a total of P680,000 worth of shabu after his arrest by Northern Police District operatives in Barangay 53, Caloocan City on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The NPD District Drug Enforcement Unit identified the suspect as Jerihco De Guzman alias “Ekong,” 22, of Caloocan City. He was arrested in a buy-bust operation launched by the DDEU led by Senior Master Sgt. Micheal Tagubilin, along 7th Avenue, Grace Park, at around 10:30 p.m. The police seized more or less 100 grams of alleged shabu valued at P680,000, the buy-bust money, and a dark green sling bag.
The suspect is now under the custody of the DDEU and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 .
