The local government has offered a P400,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the perpetrators behind the recent killing of a 13-year-old student and tricycle driver here.
PIKIT, North Cotabato – Mayor Sumulong Sultan said on Monday, Feb. 20, the amount will hopefully help fast-track the arrest of the suspects behind the series of killings in the town.
Sultan said the MPOC approved the P400,000 bounty, of which P200,000 will go to anyone who can help identify the killers of the 13-year-old student here on Feb. 14 and another P200,000 to help solve the killing of tricycle driver Jose Neri Gonzales a day earlier. In addition, the mayor said the town council passed a resolution banning motorcycle backriders and that the police will implement a no riding-in-tandem policy.
