Some P11.9 million worth of alleged shabu was seized from a man during a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Manila Police District (MPD) in Quiapo, Manila on Thursday, March 30. ManilaBulletin
MPD Barbosa Police Station identified the suspect as Salahudin alias "Kulot" Ibra Baumal, 26, a resident of Barangay Rosario, Pasig City.
Based on the police report, the suspect was collared inside a room in Balay Sa Ciudad, Quezon Boulevard, Brgy. 391, Quiapo Manila at 2:50 a.m. on Thursday. Seized from him were 10 plastic sachets and a large plastic bag containing more or less 1,750 grams of alleged shabu. A black digital weighing scale, a bundle of plastic sachets, a black backpack, and the buy-bust money were also recovered.
The pieces of evidence were submitted to MPD-Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative examinations.The suspect will be charged with violations of Sections 5 and 11 under Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
