At the conclusion of the match, both players shook hands at the net before Munar told Kokkinakis "don't tell me to shut up again". The Aussie replied "Or what?" before the pair engaged in a lengthy conversation.Munar and Kokkinakis eventually hashed out their differences civilly. But both Munar and Kokkinakis waved off the official, confirming they were just chatting civilly about the misunderstanding.
