OPPO is likely to launch two new smartphones in Malaysia under the mid-range A-series lineup soon. This is after the OPPO A38 and OPPO A18 were both spotted get
First spotted by Amanz, the A38 has the model number CPH2597 in the database, while the A18 was listed as CHP2591 by SIRIM. Furthermore, the certifications were approved just recently, with the A38 being approved on Monday and the A18 the next day.
Both smartphones have not been released by OPPO in any other markets before, but given its under the A-series range, they are most likely in the affordable to mid-range segment. Moreover, based on the names, the A18 is likely the successor to the A17 and the A38 is replacing the A36. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.
