KUALA LUMPUR: The fire on the first floor of the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) involved items stored below a staircase.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the incident occurred at 1.26pm on Sunday and firemen managed to control it by 1.52pm."The incident did not involve any casualty and we are still investigating the cause of the fire," he said.
"At the scene, clouds of smoke were seen billowing from the building.It was reported that a small fire that broke out during the MATTA Fair at PWTC has been put out by the Fire and Rescue Department.There have been no reports of any casualties.Stay tuned for a new offer coming to you soon.
