Fire scare at PWTC during Matta fair
FIRE broke out this afternoon at the kitchen area of Hall 1 in the Putra World Trade Centre and saw hundreds scampering to safety from a tourism fair in the building.
In a statement, the Fire and Rescue Department said the fire triggered the building’s alarms around 1.30pm today and it was brought under control and then put out half an hour later.
