A new Zonai Device contraption created for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a great improvement over the game’s Skyview Towers.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A new Zonai Device build in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can easily match the function of Skyview Towers. Although some Zonai Devices can seem worthless in TOTK, others can be combined to great effect. The technology of the Zonai is crucial to Link’s quest in the game, but the simple application of experimentation and creativity can lead to ever-more impressive creations being produced and shared.
The Skyview Towers are essentially a newer version of the Sheikah Towers from Breath of the Wild, although they are also cruder in their own way. Instead of simply delivering map data to the Sheikah Pad, using a Skyview Tower is a potentially deadly experience; Purah’s enormous creations launch Link into the sky to survey the land below, necessitating a paraglider to survive the endeavor.

YouTuber JoeDun has demonstrated in a short video that placing a Hover Stone diagonally on top of a Stake and then carefully attaching several Springs creates an incredible launchpad.
New Zonai Build Leaves TOTK’s Skyview Towers With One Use Without question, the biggest advantage of this build is that it can be used anywhere. Skyview Towers are fixed landmarks, and so reaching certain parts of the map by gliding from them can be time-consuming, or even impossible. Similarly, other height-gaining options like hot air balloons are often time-consuming to use.
