Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has lamented the continued erosion of the green landscape of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU , Ile-Ife, Osun State. This is as she demanded urgent efforts towards regeneration of the environment to return the beauty of the academic institution. Tinubu made this revelation at the inauguration of the 2.7-km Senator Oluremi Tinubu Way, the grand pavilion and monument on the campus, on Thursday in Ile-Ife.
Represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, Governor Ademola Adeleke remarked that his administration has not reneged on its pledge to ensure the upgrade of infrastructural amenities across the state. Speaking earlier, Oba Ogunwusi said the projects were named after Senator Tinubu in recognition of her contributions to the well-being of humanity.
