A male victim was hospitalized after a weekend shooting at an apartment building, and a 26-year-old Stockton parolee was sought as a suspect, authorities said.
In a statement Sunday, a city spokeswoman said police responded at 9:37 p.m. Saturday to a shooting report in the unit block of Carol Lane west of Main Street.
Other law enforcement agencies responded to the incident, finding one apartment at the scene empty and searching a perimeter with a K-9 officer and drones.
