BEIJING: Even a month after a 10-year-old Japanese boy was fatally stabbed by a Chinese man in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, Chinese social media is still full of anti-Japanese posts.
ODENSE: National women’s doubles shuttlers Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah are ready to take their game one notch higher under a new coach.
The world No. 7 are looking good to qualify for the season-ending World Tour Finals in Hangzhou, China from Dec 10-15 as one of the top eight pairs. They are lying in the fifth position.“For sure, every new coach is different and will come with different approach but we are open,” said the 24-year-old Pearly.“One of the areas that we are constantly working on is our mental and physical preparations, we hope to be better.‘At this level, we are open to train under a new coach,” she said.
Just a week ago, they had beaten the Japanese pair in the semi-finals of the Arctic Open in Finland en route to finishing as the runners-up.
