Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has identified a new location for the Dewi Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple, currently situated on privately owned land in Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's collective management organisations for the music industry have expressed concerns about the recently published Guidelines of Copyright 2025 by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia .

MACP chairman Datuk Mohd Nasir Mohamed highlighted the importance of engaging stakeholders, cautioning that implementing the guidelines without proper dialogue could harm the copyright ecosystem and the livelihoods of creators. Echoing similar concerns, PPM chairman Rosmin Hashim noted that the organisation, as a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry , follows global best practices in its operations and supports efforts to strengthen governance.
