Finally, the entire MRT 2 Putrajaya Line is open to the public on 16th March 2023. The new MRT line has interchanges at Titiwangsa, Ampang Park, Tun Razak Exchange, Chan Sow Lin, Sungai Besi and Putrajaya Sentral.
MRT 2 Putrajaya Line is the second MRT line in Malaysia and it uses Hyundai-Rotem train sets that come with a distinctive duck face design in red. The line has a total of 49 driverless train sets consisting of four cars with a maximum capacity of 1,204 per train.
Phase 1 of MRT 2 Putrajaya Line was opened on 16th June 2022 with a total of 12 stations from Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu.
MRT 2 Phase 2 has a couple of interchanges which include Kwasa Damansara , Titiwangsa , Ampang Park , Tun Razak Exchange TRX , Chan Sow Lin , Sungai Besi and Putrajaya Sentral
