Putrajaya MRT line opens March 16, cheapest travel option to KLIA

In a Facebook post on Friday evening, MRT Corp said commuters can travel all the way from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral beginning at 3pm on March 16.

The Putrajaya Line, formerly known as the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya line, runs through 38 stations to complete what is known as Klang Valley's second MRT line. With its full opening, it will be possible to get to KLIA and KLIA2 from downtown Kuala Lumpur for less than RM15. This can be done by taking the MRT to Putrajaya Sentral, with the fare expected to cost only a few ringgit.

From Putrajaya Sentral, one can transfer over to the KLIA Transit, a service that is part of the Express Rail Line , with a one-way fare to either KLIA or KLIA2 costing only RM9.40.Article type: free
