Operatives of the Manila Police District (MPD) arrested on Monday, July 10, the man who fired his gun after a quarrel with his girlfriend in Ermita, Manila. | ManilaBulletin
MPD Ermita Police Station identified the suspect as Lyle Adams Fernandez, 32, a resident of Anolit, Pangasinan.
According to the suspect's girlfriend, Fernandez confronted her and threatened to kill her if she would break up with him. Two co-workers of his girlfriend prevented him from entering the office room, but he managed to insert his gun through the door and fired inside the room.MPD conducted a follow-up operation at the Cubao Bus terminal in Quezon City.
Another follow-up operation was conducted after the girlfriend received a message from the suspect, asking her to meet him on Mabini Street near the corner of Padre Faura Street in Ermita at 9 p.m. on the same day.
