A 43-year-old man, Rosidi Nor, who went missing on Thursday, was found dead in the Perak River near Kampung Changkat Parah, Parit today. His body was discovered by firefighters at 4:10 pm during a search and rescue operation that began this morning, focusing on the river area after Rosidi's shoes were found on the riverbank. Divers, police boats, K9 units, and the Air Rescue Team from Kuala Kangsar and Pangkor fire stations assisted in the search.

Beliau berkata operasi mencari dan menyelamat bermula pada sebelah pagi menumpukan pada kawasan sungai berikutan penemuan kasut mangsa di tebing sungai berkenaan. “Selain itu, turut dilakukan pencarian di kawasan tebing sungai dan pencarian menggunakan bot JBPM serta polis, malah dibantu Unit Anjing Pengesan termasuk Pasukan Penyelamat di Air Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Kuala Kangsar dan Pangkor,“ katanya dalam kenyataan malam ini.
