Two Malaysian fishermen, Muarep Sakem and Rosenizam Maharam, who went missing while fishing off Pulau Undan on Wednesday, are believed to have been swept into Indonesian waters. The assumption was made based on an analysis of the Search and Rescue Operations Plan (SAROPS). The third day of the search operation involves the use of six maritime assets and one air asset from the Subang Maritime Air Station (SUMS) and has been expanded to 1,372 square kilometers. 54 officers and personnel from various agencies, including Maritime Malaysia, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), and the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) are involved. The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Putrajaya has requested assistance from the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) to help locate the two victims.
