Singer Misha Omar denied using her son Idris Ezzawa as a publicity stunt after a video of him opening the Misha Back To Basic showcase on December 21 went viral. Misha, whose real name is Samihah @ Aishah Omar, said her decision to involve Idris on stage was purely to support his talent. She urged people to support and celebrate children's talents instead of criticizing them. Misha shared her son's performance on Instagram and expressed pride in his success as a child host.
She recalled Idris' dedication to practicing daily for the performance. Misha also praised Idris' honesty and authenticity, noting that his words came from the heart. Misha Omar Back To Basic showcase was held at Jiospace, Petaling Jaya, Selangor on December 21, entertaining 2,000 fans. Misha is married to pilot Firros Ezzwan Rosly since May 2, 2014, and has two children, Idris and an adopted son named Muhammad Adam Emir, who is now 18
