Ahmad Zahid mahu bawa isu nama SJKC Tun Omar Ong Yoke Lin ke Kabinet
KUALA LUMPUR: Pengerusi Barisan Nasional Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi akan membawakan usul mengembalikan semula nama asal Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina Tun Omar Ong Yoke Lin yang diluluskan namun ditukarkan kepada SJKC Gamuda Cove.
“Ini soal, di mana ketika itu nama berkenaan sudah dipersetujui,” katanya pada sambutan Ulang Tahun BN ke-50 di Pusat Dagangan Dunia . Melahirkan kekecewaan terhadap perkara itu, Ka Siong dalam ucapannya berkata, Tun Omar adalah pengasas MCA dan tokoh yang memperjuangkan kemerdekaan.
