The rain and drizzle will break at points this week as warmer temperatures set in
There was some pretty decent rain throughout the country this August Bank Holiday weekend as Storm Antoni hit on Friday. Thankfully, this week will see a break in the rain for a brief period.
That rain will then extend across the southern half of the country by nightfall. Highest temperatures of 15C to 19C in mainly light southwesterly or variable breezes. Tuesday Cloudy but dry for most areas with just a few patches of light rain or drizzle lingering in Munster and Leinster. Brighter over Ulster with decent spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 17C to 22C, warmest in the south, in light and variable breezes.
It will be generally dry with good clear spells on Wednesday night. Lowest temperatures of 12C to 16C in mainly light southeasterly breezes
