Met Eireann has confirmed temperatures will hit 20C today, Sunday August 6, before a big improvement arrives next week.
We finally have some good weather news, as Met.ie confirmed rain will let up as temperatures are to soar to the 20Cs yet again.It has been an August like no other, with heavy rain and wind dominating over the past few weeks but it looks like it won't last much longer.The national weather advisory predicts Sunday will remain mainly dry with highs of 20C. Although you may want to take note if you are living in the more northern parts of the country as Met.ie warn showers will be heaviest here.
Monday Thankfully, bank Holiday Monday will start largely dry with sunny spells and just some isolated showers, so it's good news for those who are camping this weekend. "Cloud will build across the country in the afternoon with patchy rain and drizzle spreading to most areas by evening. Some dry and sunny spells will linger in Ulster and north Leinster."
