JOHOR BARU: The Menu Rahmah initiative has been well-received by business owners, says Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

Refuting claims that the menu is only championed by Malay entrepreneurs, the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister that restaurant owners of other races have also been launching the RM5 menu.

Salahuddin said that this was followed by interest from the Malaysian Tomyam Operators Association and Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad . “Even in Yong Peng, there is also a Chinese restaurant that has already been offering the RM5 and below menu. There is no issue with people from any race joining the initiative and such claims are far from the truth. It is Rahmah for all,” added Salahuddin.
