Brisk sales under Rahmah initiative, says Salahuddin

JOHOR BARU: Businesses taking part in the Rahmah initiative have been seeing an increase in the number of customers, says Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister said a supermarket chain that recently launched the Jualan Rahmah had even reported an increase in sales of about 30% in its stores nationwide."The people are able to enjoy low price tags while industry players also gain some benefits.

He said this to reporters after launching the Menu Rahmah for a fast food chain here in Persiaran Indah, Johor Baru. Salahuddin also said that the ministry would be developing a mobile application where the public could find more details on restaurants offering Menu Rahmah."It will provide the public with a directory, allowing them to know where to go for Menu Rahmah.
