Consulting group McKinsey has anointed a Melbourne-based transformation specialist to run its local team.
Consulting group McKinsey has anointed Melbourne-based transformation specialist Wesley Walden as its new managing partner for Australia and New Zealand.
Wesley Walden joined McKinsey in Melbourne in 2002. He’s now managing partner for Australia and New Zealand.Walden joined McKinsey’s Melbourne office in 2002, and rose through the ranks to be named as a partner in 2009 and senior partner in 2015.former leader Angus Dawson stepped down,Walden will continue to work from McKinsey’s Melbourne office, which was the firm’s first outpost outside of the United States and Europe.
“I believe we are going through a profound period of accelerated change and disruption, and that this creates unique opportunities for the region’s private, public, and social sector organisations to reinvent themselves, grow and lead globally,” he said in a statement to Street Talk on Thursday morning.
