Chan made such a statement one week after a jewelry store inside a mall in Barangay Basak was victimized by members of a “Salisi Gang” that took around P800,000 worth of jewelry.“Nagpabilin pa na atong standing order sa kapulisan nga atoa gyud pahugtan ang pagbantay sa kahapsay ug kalinaw.
To help prevent any form of criminalities, Chan said that he will also continue installing street lights, especially in interior barangays that have dark alleys. “Karon atoa gyud gipaspasan ang pag-istalar ug suga mga interior part,” he added, saying that they are targeting to complete the installation of street lights before Christmas. He urged private establishments to also install CCTV cameras within their vicinity.
“Ang atoang CCTV nagpadayon ug pag-install, gani nagdungag ta ug CCTV cameras and we also encouraged private establishments to have their own CCTV cameras para sa pagsanta sa mga mobuhat ug dili maayo,” he said.
