Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad recorded a 5.3% increase in net profit to RM67.4 million for the second quarter of the 2025 financial year, driven by robust demand , especially from the Bandar Seri Sendayan development. The increase was supported by a 10% rise in new property sales to RM341.7 million for the second quarter of the 2025 financial year, along with an improvement in the group's gross margin to 49.8%, aided by a profitable mix of industrial property development. 7% drop in group earnings year-on-year to RM321 million due to lower Sendayan development recognition, other segments such as education and hospitality recorded a robust 46.2% increase in earnings. Health care also contributed positively with earnings of RM5.1 million from the Mawar Hospital. Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohamad Amin, chairman of Matrix Concepts, stated that the company continues to record sustainable growth and long-term value for shareholders supported by robust profits. 'We are also enjoying encouraging sales performance in the first half of the 2025 financial year and are on track to achieve property sales of RM1.3 billion during the current financial year,' he added. 'This aligns with our tradition of providing decent returns to shareholders for over 10 years and we are announcing a 10% higher dividend payout for the second quarter of 2025 compared to the previous year, reflecting strong financial performance and confidence in continued growth. 'We continue to diversify revenue streams and grow into sectors with high growth potential such as education, health care, and affordable housing,' he emphasized
