KOTA KINABALU: MASwings has begun reinstating its flight schedules under its second phase in a bid to return to normal scheduling following reduced frequencies and flight suspension since the movement control order (MCO) on March 18.

The company, in a statement, said that the second phase of reinstating flight schedules would start Wednesday , and gradually meet the normal schedule as per the Public Service Obligation Agreement by end October this year.

Effective today, MASwings has begun operating up to 59% of its ATR-500 and 81% of its Viking DHC6 Twin Otter flights for its scheduled services in Sabah and Sarawak. These include the enforcement of mask-wearing for all passengers and crew, temperature checks, sanitisation and disinfection of all aircraft and facilities, and enforcement of social distancing during queues to keep passengers safe.

The Rediscover Borneo fares are inclusive of airport taxes, Carrier Imposed Fee , and subject to MASwings’ terms and conditions.
