Defence Minister Richard Marles said a series of investigations will be undertaken following the fatal helicopter crash which killed three US marines during a training exercise on Sunday. Mr Marles said Australia will work closely with the United States in order to ascertain what caused the incident, which occurred near Melville Island, north of Darwin. “This investigation will be thorough,” he told Sky News Australia. 'Right now, our focus is on providing all the support we can to the United States.”
