According to Mayor Honey, the main purpose of the tree-planting activity is to encourage the Manileños to keep their environment clean and to see more plants in the city.
"Alam naman po ninyo na highly urbanized po ang Manila pero sinisikap po namin na 'yung maliliit na espasyo dito sa Maynila eh talagang mapuno namin ng puno ," Mayor Honey said. Mayor Honey said the Manileños and other neighboring cities can come and visit the Arroceros Forest Park for free.
