Police are investigating whether the shooting of a man at Queanbeyan this morning is linked to another armed assault 45 minutes earlier.
A man has been shot and two people threatened with a knife in separate early morning attacks in the NSW city of Queanbeyan, near Canberra.Police said at 6:15am today, an unknown man got into a car parked outside KFC on Wanniassa Road and threatened two people inside.
The man then fled the car alongside a woman and another man in a blue Ford Focus with NSW number plates.Detectives probing if two attacks linked At 7:00am today a 39-year-old man from Pambula, on the NSW far south coast, took himself to Queanbeyan hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach.Detectives have established a strike force to investigate the incidents and determine whether they are connected.
