The French Open has been thrown into chaos after stars tested positive for COVID-19 and were removed from the tournament.

The tournament released a statement Thursday morning announcing two players from the same doubles team have been isolated and removed from the tournament as a result.

Doubles pair Feliciano Lopez and Jaume Munar have also disappeared from the draw and replaced by an alternative team that is yet to be announced. “The Roland Garros tournament organisers confirm that two players from the men’s doubles draw, on the same team, have tested positive for Covid-19,” the tournament statement confirmed.Source:AFP
