KULAI: A 35-year-old man was killed after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a car at KM18.2 of the North-South Expressway.
Kulai OCPD Supt Tan Seng Lee said the incident occurred at 11.40am on Saturday and involved three vehicles. “Investigation revealed that the accident started when a car driven by a 57-year-old man heading North from Johor Baru slowed down due to the traffic congestion in the area. “Another vehicle behind him, driven by a 24-year-old woman, has also slowed down; however, the victim, who came from the same direction, did not manage to evade the slowing car and rammed into its left side,” he said in a statement here on Sunday .
Supt Tan added that the impact caused the victim to be flung to the left side of the road while his motorcycle was flung on top of the first vehicle.“The body was brought to the Temenggong Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim Hospital in Kulai for a post-mortem," he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 41 of the Road and Transport Act of 1987.
