The president of Kulai Municipal Council, Mohd Fahmi Salam, expresses readiness to be part of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) due to the growth potential of the district. Kulai is expected to attract more industries in the coming years and being included in the economic zone would boost the local economy.
KULAI: The Kulai Municipal Council is prepared to be part of the much anticipated Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone , says its president, Mohd Fahmi Salam.
"Kulai is among places that may be included in the JS-SEZ as it is under the Iskandar Malaysia areas. The exact location of the JS-SEZ has yet to be determined, but it is set to be within the Iskandar Malaysia area.
