KUALA LUMPUR: Police have refuted claims that a man who collapsed in front of a shop at Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park tested positive for Covid-19.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin @ Hilmi said the 33-year-old man suffered a heart attack.
He said according to a medical officer from the University Malaya Medical Centre, the victim was suspected to have suffered a heart attack and collapsed outside a shop there."He was diagnosed to have suffered internal bleeding of the brain and is in coma," ACP Zairulnizam said, adding that a Covid-19 screening on the victim also came back negative.
"The public must fact-check any information they receive responsibly before spreading false information.
