A man wanted for child exploitation was arrested in Las Piñas on Friday, August 4.

In his report to the Southern Police District , city police chief Col. Jaime Santos said the suspect, Edward Treyes, 22, alias “Nognog”, was nabbed at around 7:30 p.m. in Madrigal Compound, Barangay Daniel Fajardo.

Santos said Treyes, tagged as the sixth wanted person in the city, was apprehended by operatives from the Warrant and Subpoena Section and the Women and Children Protection Desk. He was nabbed on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Elizabet Yu Guray of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 202 on June 11, 2023 for violation of Republic Act 7610 , with a recommended as bail of P200,000.
