Sepang district police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman confirmed the details, stating that the suspect became enraged by the delay and proceeded to slap his wife.

The video, lasting only 29 seconds, quickly spread on social media, prompting police action. The man was apprehended outside a clinic in the same neighborhood at 10 am on Saturday, February 1st. According to ACP Norhizam, the suspect is believed to have spent the night in his car to evade authorities. He is currently under a three-day remand starting Sunday, February 2nd, to assist in the ongoing investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt and Section 18 of the Domestic Violence Act 1994.
