Police in Malaysia have arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing his 15-year-old stepdaughter at their home in Subang Jaya. The victim disclosed the abuse to her mother in 2021, but the suspect promised to stop, leading the mother to withhold reporting the incident. The abuse was repeated in January 2023, prompting the mother to file a police report.

However, the 36-year-old man promised not to touch the victim again, prompting the 31-year-old mother to refrain from filing a police report. Siti Kamsiah said, “As a result, her mother came forward to file a report at the Putra Heights police station.”
