A Malaysian woman shares her harrowing experience of being followed by a mysterious man at the busy Subang Jaya train station, urging caution and awareness among frequent users, especially solo women.
A Malaysian woman recently had a scary experience after getting off the train at Subang Jaya . In her viral Threads post, Suraya shared her story to warn the public, especially solo women who frequently use the Subang Jaya LRT and KTM station. According to Suraya, she and her friend noticed a mysterious man who was asking for money from strangers. At first, they didn't think much of it, but then they felt something was off. The man seemed to be following them.
He walked beside them and kept the same pace. At the bus station, they thought he had backed off, but he stayed behind them. Suraya told her friend, who was unaware, and they pretended to take a selfie to see if the man was still there. He was, so they quickly walked towards SJCC Gallery Center, but the man followed them. They continued walking until Subang Parade, still pretending to take selfies to check if he was there. Finally, he seemed to notice they were recording him and stopped following them, returning to Subang Jaya station. In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Suraya said this is a serious concern not just for her but also for people who work in the Subang Jaya, Wisma Consplant, and UOA areas. The incident happened on January 9th around 5:17 pm in broad daylight, and Suraya reported it to the police. They assured her they would take action, including increasing patrols in the area.
