The Malaysian Royal Police (PDRM) has distributed over a ton of essential food supplies, including rice, sugar, and flour, to residents of Kampung Miak who were affected by recent flooding. The aid also included cleaning supplies donated by several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) through the Gua Musang Police Headquarters (IPD) food bank. The village is located in a remote area, 120 kilometers from Gua Musang town, and requires a 30-kilometer journey through logging roads to reach. Eight four-wheel-drive vehicles and over 20 officers, along with eight members of the Police Family Association (PERKEP), were involved in the delivery.

“Kampung Miak merupakan sebuah penempatan yang terletak di kawasan pedalaman dengan jarak kira-kira 120 kilometer dari bandar Gua Musang dan perlu meredah perjalanan melalui laluan balak sejauh kira-kira 30km sebelum dapat menyempurnakan penyerahan bantuan ini. Beliau berkata pihaknya masih mengalu-alukan penyertaan dan penglibatan daripada mana-mana NGO yang ingin turut serta dalam menyumbangkan bantuan kepada penduduk terjejas banjir.
Wakil penduduk Kampung Miak Tg Usri Tg Hamzah, 56, berkata sebelum ini 40 keluarga di kampung terbabit telah terkepung selama beberapa hari ketika gelombang banjir baru-baru ini.
